Fill Easter Eggs with different color paint and let the little ones (and adults too!) throw the Easter eggs against poster board for fun splatter art! On the back, have the kids do their handprints and write the date. Pro Tip - for the tiny toddlers, put their poster board directly on the ground and have them "spike" the eggs at an angle. This will be much easier for them and will mitigate ricochet paint when done at an angle.

Blend tradition and compassion with this early Easter Egg Hunt! Write the names of your family, friends, and neighbors, and put each individual name within an Easter Egg. Have an "early" Easter Egg Hunt and perform random acts of kindness randomly throughout the week for the person you find in your Easter Egg. Ideas: leave notes, make snacks, make mini gifts, tidy up a room or perform other small chore

Each family member or team builds something "Easter themed" using everyday items from around the house. You can create your own scoring system and rewards, but here are our favorite "prizes" for the winning person or team. Our favorite rewards: pick the movie for "movie night", stay up 15 minutes past normal bedtime, or pick whatever you want for dinner one night. Yes, that means cake for dinner is technically allowed.

Take your egg hunt to the next level by hiding glow-in-the-dark eggs after sunset. Fill them with mini treats or secret messages.

Start the day with a calming “Bunny Yoga” session—perfect for little ones to hop, stretch, and breathe. Use poses like “egg roll” (child’s pose), “spring flower” (tree pose), and bunny breaths (deep inhales and exhales). End with a mindfulness bell and cuddle time.

Celebrate new by starting an “Easter Garden” together. Decorate pots, plant seeds or small flowers, and place them by the front door or windowsill as a symbol of growth and renewal.

Turn eggs into science fun! Try floating eggs in saltwater, decorating eggs with shaving cream and food coloring, or even making fizzy “Easter volcanoes” with baking soda and vinegar in plastic eggs.

We always leave carrots out for the Easter Bunny, but what if he gets tired? A fun craft/project with your little one can be to build a "Easter Bunny Bed" in case the Easter Bunny needs a quick power nap after his carrots.

In this "Bunny Adoption", little ones can choose and adopt their own fluffy bunny.
Each child gets to pick their bunny, complete a Bunny Adoption Certificate and "All About My Bunny" sheet.
